Poem:When Nature Plays Holi by Naveen Singh
When Nature Plays Holi
Naveen Singh
Holi is born of colors bright,
Yet nature paints with softer light;
In blooming fields and golden air,
Spring whispers hope everywhere.
We toss the गुलाल into the sky,
With laughing hearts and spirits high;
We stain our hands in crimson streams,
And color the canvas of our dreams.
But what is joy if blurred by haze,
If drunken nights replace bright days?
If шум and chaos drown the song,
And peace feels fragile, faint, and wrong?
For Holi’s flame was meant to rise
From kinder hearts and clearer skies;
Not wild uproar nor reckless cheer,
But love that draws each soul more near.
See how the tender blossoms sway,
In gentle hues of gold and gray;
The earth herself in colors dressed,
Invites each wandering heart to rest.
Let envy fade like winter’s frost,
Let walls of pride and fear be lost;
Embrace each soul, let differences fall,
For love is the truest color of all.
In rhythm of drums and songs that soar,
In dancing feet on dusty floor;
In laughter shared, in hands held tight,
We find Holi’s truest light.
So celebrate with mindful grace,
Let kindness shine on every face;
For when our hearts in truth agree,
That is Holi — wild and free.
When joy is pure and spirits whole,
When peace awakens every soul;
Then nature smiles in soft delight—
And Holi blooms in living light.
